Chocolate Tempering Machine Electronic Control System


It is a machine that transforms the solid chocolate put into the boiler into a solution, and fills it into molds of the desired size with the help of a tap.

The process starts with the melting of the chocolate placed in the pot with the help of base and side heaters and mixer. The working point of the heaters is provided by an advanced PID algorithm, which is created according to the adjustable temperature value. The chocolate, which is brought to the desired temperature that will ensure fluidity, becomes able to flow from the tap thanks to the pump mechanism.

The column with the pump mechanism has two heaters to ensure the flowability of the chocolate. The working point of these heaters in the column wall and faucet part is also adjustable and is also provided by the PID method.

All units working with PID method have a sensitivity of +/- 0.1 degrees.

Heating of the column wall is provided by heating the fluid system surrounding it. There is a recirculation pump that ensures even distribution of heating – and cooling in the future.
The most outstanding feature of this machine is that it can continuously temper. The chocolate brought to the desired fluidity and temperature can be filled into molds in a tempered manner if desired.

Tempering process is provided by cooling the liquid surrounding the column wall. There is a high capacity compressor in the system for this cooling. The temperature control point is an adjustable value and is provided by the compressor and the circulation pump operating at variable times.

The electronic hardware and software that ensures the operation of the whole mechanism minimizes the time to reach the temperature control point by analyzing the heating and cooling curves.

Monitoring and management of all these processes of the machine can be provided with the control unit on it. There are two types of control units, mechanical and touch. The mechanical control unit has mechanical buttons and the touch control unit has capacitive touch buttons. Both units have a three-digit two-light indicator.

The touch control unit is located on a mirrored glass. The mirrored glass allows the control unit to be hidden when it is not running. In the operating state, the button positions are indicated with light and thanks to this illumination, only usable buttons appear and user guidance is provided.

The machine is available in three-phase and single-phase mains voltage models. Mains voltage is only binding mixer motor and pump motor.

The machine has many error detection devices. Connection errors of all temperature sensors can be detected. The connection problem and overcurrent of both motors, the main supply phase sequence and phase deficiency can be detected in the three-phase model. Working time is recorded and service time reminder can be made if desired.

The driving of all units on the machine is provided with semiconductor elements on the electronic equipment and no mechanical drive elements are used.
